How much do you think these kids will remember about the Bonus Army during the Great Depression? Probably more than they would from memorizing the historical facts surrounding it for a test. Technology + Project Based Learning = engaging, authentic learning experiences

Project Based Learning (PBL) allows for rich, memorable learning experiences for kids of all ages. Through critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration, and communication, kids are able to learn through authentic learning experiences. Technology is a wonderful tool to incorporate in the investigation and gathering of information, but it is also the perfect tool for producing and creating projects that reflect the knowledge and understanding of the topics being presented. These types of authentic learning opportunities allow for higher student engagement and ultimately higher student achievement.
